My Heart Aches For Benny Hinn

I received the letter (email) today that brought some very sad news about Benny Hinn and his family. Oh, I know, some of you reading this probably don’t care about Benny Hinn or his family, but you SHOULD! If you don’t, it proves once again how fractional and “self centered” the church has become in these last days. The Apostle Paul made it clear in 2 Timothy. He said, “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of gospel, but denying the power of it.”

Benny relates his pain and regret as he informs the body and ministry supporters that his wife has filed for divorce. Bottom line is… he’s been married for 30 years and has 4 children. IT HURTS!

No immorality or “SIN” is the reason for this separation and even the children have been in a state of shock since the announcement.

Jesus said, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” We live in the days where “lawlessness” is rampant. The world system has said, “right is wrong” and what God says is “wrong,” really is “right.” This creates untold heartache and loss in relationships all over America and the world.

The line is being drawn more clearly than ever before. If you believe the Word of God… will you endure? Or will your love “grow cold” too?

With as many divorces in the so called “Christian community” as there are in the world, something is drastically wrong with this picture! There could be many reasons and I won’t begin to speculate on why Suzane Hinn has decided to divorce her husband, but there are clear mandates in the Word of God that make it understandable that God hates divorce. That’s why Benny has asked people for prayer, that God will reconcile and repair this relationship. Plus, he loves his wife! He has never been unfaithful (stated in his letter) and doesn’t even know why she has made this heartbreaking decision.

My wife, often reminds me that “we all make choices.” This is how God designed us. We are free to choose. We can chose “life” or we can choose “death.”

Does God still love Suzanne Hinn? Absolutely! But, the impact of this decision will affect many more people than just Suzanne Hinn. The devil has come to steal her life with her husband and her decision to agree with him, rather than obey God’s plan, will hurt many people. You may say, “people get divorced every day… so what?” People choose death everyday also. That should not belittle the incredible effect it has on everyone’s life.

I don’t know the specifics and I don’t know the why’s… BUT, I DO know that God wants us to choose life! Why do some continue to listen to the lies, just like Eve did in the beginning, when God has proven His love for us on Calvary and every day we walk with Him?

Jesus said, “But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”  We must endure the difficult days we live in now, because we will see Jesus.  Jesus said, He’ll never leave us or forsake us when we “abide in Him.”

Now I know and understand why Jesus asked this question in Luke 18:8… “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

I pray that for my family and yours… He does!

Letter From My Friend

I received this letter from a friend of mine and wanted to share it with you because I see this battle in the church and as long as the devil can keep this “mindset” going in the church, he can keep Christians defeated!

Hey there Steve. Bob and I are really enjoying learning from Joseph Prince. We are amazed….One of my prayers has always been that Christians would know who they are in Christ, that they would be set free and that we would start to see some healings. Well, now I understand why we never see healing..the church is preaching “the law” or “death”..now Bob and I have been praying on how to proceed with this information.. It’s very difficult when the entire church and all the leaders love to talk about sin…Bob just recently went on a mens retreat, while riding in the bus Bob tried to share with the men what he has learned, and all the men ganged up on him and got very angry.. Please pray for us Steve.. we’re not sure if we should stay where we are at and pray for the leaders or we should we pray for a different church…maybe one of these days you and Bob can chat on the phone about it..his number is xxx-xxxx..Have a blessed day!

Hi My Sister,

Oh… I know how you feel and unfortunately, many “believers” are also scoffers. The “indoctrination” of wrong teaching is the reason that Christians never stood up to the abortion industry, to corrupt politicians and to every other evil going on around us. They have walked in condemnation. Only the fearless will be unafraid. Condemnation brings fear. (Perfect love casts out ALL fear!)
Don’t you think, that if the enemy can keep the body in this perpetual “bad-good” mentality, that we will always be powerless to the “inheritance of the saints in Christ?”

I like what Creflo Dollar says, “Before we’re saved, we need to hear… BE BORN AGAIN and after we’re saved, we need to hear, “RENEW YOUR MIND.”

It’s really a case of NOT rightly dividing the Word of Truth and therefore, not understanding.

Jesus said, “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him [more] will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will  be taken from him.” Luke 8:18
What’s He talking about? Revelation and understanding the WORD of God. Who will take from him, “even what he seems to have?” The DEVIL! The accuser. The law promoter and self proclaimed prosecuting attorney against all the saints!

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” Rev 12:10

But, that spirit of pride rises up in the carnal Christian… that’s what makes them hostile to the Gospel of Grace. Read Galatians and you’ll notice that the Apostle Paul had to deal with that same exact thing! (even in the early church.)

You see, man just craves to take credit for something… We always want to DO something to deserve… That’s what the world teaches.
Carnal Christians still hang on to that because “man’s wisdom is so ingrained in their mindset.”

As you know, there is NO perfect church, but you and your family must go where you can be in unity of the same mind to serve the Lord together. I would chose a fellowship where they at least want to believe God for His best and are not CLOSED MINDED to any preaching that is in line with God’s Word. (ex. Joseph Prince)

Let God lead you in the decision to stay or leave. Do not stay or go out of condemnation or guilt. Go or stay because of God’s presence and peace that will confirm your decision. If you don’t have His peace, don’t go. If you don’t have His peace, don’t stay.

There are some things I like about most church fellowships, but you must be where God wants you. Let Him lead and direct you, but making any decision from a sense of obligation, not to hurt anyone or don’t want to make waves, is the wrong motivation.

Where the presence of the Lord is, there is peace (liberty). We can literally walk in His presence everyday. WHY?

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36

Can A True Muslim Be A True American?

This is a letter I received from Pastor Reza Safa recently:

In our effort to obstruct the expansion of evil, we must be careful not to incite hatred, injustice, or bigotry against any group of people or their belief system.  However, in being careful and politically correct we may also step to the other side of the curb and become static and inert.  In doing so, which I believe we have in regards to Islam, we will allow a giant to be raised which cannot be slain with only a stone or two!

Upon every wall that protects a city, there are always watchmen to guard the city’s inhabitants from foreign invaders.   They are to watch and alarm the officials of the city in case of danger.  What if the watchmen?s voice was not heard and the foreign invaders had already infiltrated the walls of the city?   What if the governor of the city did not heed the warnings of the watchmen and believed that he could appease the invaders with a compromise for peaceful co-existence?  Would it be politically correct to examine the identity of the invaders?  Jesus must have not been a politically correct man because he warned of the world’s system.  And the politically correct world hated Him for it.   Well, if we are to follow our Master, we must also testify of that which we know.

Can A True Muslim Be A True American?

As the number of Muslims is growing in America and as the number of terrorist acts carried out by the radical Muslims is increasing, we must define Islam and determine if it is a safe belief system that is able to co-exist with the American people and the Constitution of the United States !    What if the Islamic laws oppose the Constitution of the United States ?  Can the Constitution protect such a belief system because it has a label of ?religion??   How can the American Constitution protect an entity that contradicts it?  Can the Constitution of the United States survive while protecting Islam?  According to my knowledge of the Islamic Shari?a law and the 1500-year history of Islam, it cannot.

As Islamic terrorism is finding new ways of harming America , the American dream and American liberty are shrinking.  We are being prohibited and limited more and more. The way we travel, the way we speak, and even the way we think is being controlled and watched.

When I lived in America in 1978-79 as a radical Muslim, almost everything here bothered me.  As a Muslim I was grieved on a daily basis by the life-style of the American people.  Everything except fast food looked unclean to me.  And even with that I had a hard time because the meat was not Hallal (kosher in accordance to the Shari?a law).   I often had to step on my religious conscience in order to survive living in the United States .   It is impossible for a true Muslim to live in America peaceably unless he or she is isolated in their own environment. That?s how I survived in Houston , Texas .  I lived and interacted with Muslims only.  Our friends used to slaughter a lamb in their bathtub; that’s where we got our meat.  One day as they were cutting the throat of the lamb, the animal took off running.  It jumped out of the window and went running and bleeding down the street.  That was the end of our kosher meat and my friends were arrested.  By the end of a year and a half I was bitter and tired.  I left America for Iran to be part of the Islamic revolution.  At that time there was only one Mosque in Houston, today there are over 90 Mosques in that city.

For a Muslim to live in American society, he or she must face many difficulties while trying to be true to their faith.  To be a true American Muslim is a miracle!  How can it be?  There is a constant internal battle waging in the soul of a true Muslim living in the United States unless he or she lives completely isolated in an Islamic community where no interaction with Jews, Christians, or atheists is possible.  American Muslims have to deny and neglect many of the Quran’s commandments in order to avoid trouble with the law in this country.  Here are a few examples:  Please Click this link.  http://www.nejattv.org/sendout/attachment022010.pdf
